This tool is being developed in PHP, with a MySql Database, and uses the XOOPS framework. The site prompts end users for information about the system, generates PDF reports complete with Frequency Spectrum Charts, and submits those reports to Program Managers for approval. The SEMCIP repository for EMI Problems is a web based system currently hosted at NDE. In 2006 Mr. Weber began converting the site from an ASP/FoxPro system hosted commercially to an ASP/Microsoft SQL Server based site hosted on the local NSWC Dahlgren base. Over the last year Mr. Weber has since converted this to an ASP/Oracle site. The newest version is hosted at NDE in Fairfield, California. The overall task has involved reverse engineering the legacy ASP and FoxPro pages, creating standards compliant XHTML code, enhancing the performance of the database through index and foreign key constraints, and implementing an advanced regular expression theme-ing engine. Additional features for the new version include export options to XLS, DOC and PDF formats, Web 2.0/Ajax-ian widgets, various speed enhancements and a custom built search engine.
