That's our youngest - Bobby Weber :-) Just getting ready to sit down to supper.
Joey snuck one in! The gang having desert :)
And then of course there's Maxie. In the middle of every family visit and getting in a little quality ear scratching from mom. Just chilling at home. Mom and Saranne, thank you once more for that beautiful Johnny Johnson painting hanging on my "spiced pumpkin" wall. I think it looks pretty amazing, even if Bob insists on just calling the wall "ornge". You'll never know how muc My 2 boys. Wonder what they're discussing here?
But then they got assigned to camping KP duty. Sorry kids. Life is good. Camping on Father's Day at Westmoreland State Park, VA.
Breakfast time at Memama's house. Neither of us have ever really been "morning" people. Again... Bobby's school pictures were always better than mine.
My bro... continuing the long standing Halloween tradition of dressing up like a hobo when we couldn't afford a real costume. LOL! I think I might have mentioned in another picture that my brother was an alien child... and here's the photographic proof! Now that's a cool picture... I never got my photo taken with a rad lazer themed background! Bobby had all the fun as a child.
Now that's a "deer-in-the-headlights" look if ever there was one! Ready to go to a new school... this was in Presidential Lakes, NJ. Bobby looking cute. He really couldn't help it...
Oh. Now that's attractive! I believe this pic was taken from inside a car while Bobby and I made like puffer fish on the window. Niiiiiice... I told you. Man! I'm NOT as sadistic as this picture makes me out to be. However there's no denying the glee on my face and the distress on Bobby's. Hmmmm... my only comfort is whoever took this picture seemed to think it was just fine! (Mom? Dad?)
Bobby in footie pj's, just hanging out on the comfy chair. Not sure if he was using the brush to comb his hair... probably chewing on it, actually. (Later, you'll see him chewing on the tub...) Bobby taking aim with an air gun. This was during the time we lived on the Potomac River in Virginia. Christmas morning at the house on California Trail. (Presidential Lakes, NJ) Wow. I really should wash my feet!
I love the look on Bobby's face here...pure joy! (Or pure birthday sugar rush, ha!) "Come on in! Have some cake! So glad you could make it!" Bobby with bippy and bear... oh, the simple pleasures of youth. (Back when it was still okay to call him "Boo-bear".) My bro... learning the fundamentals of binary code through the "Patty-cake" teaching method.
He'll grow into 'em! My little bro, experimenting with new taste sensations... The creepiest thing about this picture is, that toy wasn't smiling until Bobby put his mouth on it...
My little naked alien brother and his yellow flying saucer. (Okay... he probably WILL kill me for posting this.) "Listen here, toots... what say you and I blow this joint and go make a name for ourselves. I may be small... but I got big ideas!" I believe this picture was taken by me at the mall in Prince George, MD. Hmmm... wonder what I'd just said to put that look on mom's face? Looks like I'm about to get slapped with an ice-cream bar... which wouldn't be too bad actually. Stings a bit...but
The lower forty, King George, VA. I think he's pointing at the nest of caterpillars...seasonally, they'd appear all over the place on our property. I like his robot-grabber toy. (Excellent for picking up gross stuff you'd never touch with your actual hand Ready for the first day of school! Man... that's a freekin' huge book bag. Kids these days with their complaints of back strain are panty-waists! Now that's a goofy look! I'm thinking it's a kung-fu face...
Judging by the look on Dad's face, I think he's picturing Bobby as an adult...and he likes what he sees! Bobby getting ready to rumble. You've really got to work to beat a man up with a tiny wrench... but you fight with the weapon you have, not the weapon you wish you had! (Hee-hee...) My baby bro going after the vaseline jar. I didn't post the pic of mom applying it to his tush... that'd just be cruel!
Bobby hamming it up as a... well, I'm not sure. We were such goofy kids! Man, that's an ugly shirt! What the hell was I thinking?! My bro when he still saw things through rose-colored glasses...
My bro when he chose to see things through violet-colored glasses... Chilling at the tea house in Plains, GA. Yes, we had to wear the hats. "No wear-a the hat, no drink-a the tea!" I'd say Bobby got the least regrettable hat on this outing... (L-R) Bobby, me, Pat, Tadashi, and Deb. I think I'm wearing a "Hooters" bandana... yet another regrettable fashion choice!
The opposite of Chris Farley's schtick..."Little guy in a big coat!" Yeah, it was fun dressing my little bro up in rediculous outfits. We got bored a lot. What can I say? The computer had a big influence on Bobby at an early age. He was probably playing Castle Wolfenstein here...or Forbidden Forest! "Look bro! I've actually got a GIRL in my room! Isn't this awesome?!!!"
Wow. First day of school. We both look thrilled! (Oh to have that waist again...dang!) Bobby trying his best to look like a badass...while his constant companion (a stuffed Q-bert doll) peeks over his shoulder, thereby ruining the effect... "The next time I come through this door, you better have my money." Bobby during his early years on the Fargo, North Dakota narcotics force.
As you can see on his face, Bobby was never a big fan of water... Love those chubby cheeks, bro! Nice outfits, Mom. They're timeless, really...
Bobby getting ready to do a little Kung-fu fightin'! Me, Kathy (my best gal friend), and little Bobby. I'm not sure where the cat came from. (It doesn't look happy, though...) You all have yellow shirts on! Dorks!!! (Ha!)
Dad and Bobby at the beach. Those are some mighty big shoes to fill! Me and my lil bro...just chillin'. Wow. Our feet are quite prominent in this pic...
Watch out, Bobby! The evil lawn gnome has snuck in the window and is quickly making his way towards the tub!!! Mom and Bobby... looking like a little squishy toy! Uncle Steve (yes... he was still a truck driver here.) I love that he's got the newborn Bobby in one arm and a smoking cigarette in the other. Ha! How the times have changed!
"He ain't heavy...he's my broth-er-er-er..." I'm not sure what's with the crazy hat. Bobby and I playing in the dirt outside our house on Andrews Air Force Base. Brothers chillin' together on the couch. Check out the "quail pattern" couch! Sweet!
Dad and my little pink brother...
The happy couple at home... Okay... Bobby didn't actually say that...but I'm sure he was thinking along those lines! Bobby at Mom and Dad's house.
My bro.
Mom taking pics...(that's Bobby and Brandy's car in the mirror.) My bro... chillin' in the pumpkin truck. Bobby and butterfly...
Bobby in the lower 40 (Mom and Dad's house...) Bobby says "no sweat!"
I can't believe i still have this photo...looking kinda rough there.
OOOh, a whole bunch of us! I know SOME of you remember this!
